Vidya Vikasini School & Junior College, Gokhivera, Vasai (East), is run by the Catholic Minority Community with all the rights and privileges granted by the Constitution of India and recognized but unaided by the Department of Education of Maharashtra State. Members of the "Congregation of the Franciscan Missionary Brothers" (CMSF) run it through a Registered Body “Society of the Franciscan Brothers of Gokhivera,” whose President is the Provincial of the Province of St. Francis Xavier.
Vidya Vikasini High School began in 1977 in a remote hamlet of Gokhivera, east of Vasai on modest lines, but with high aspirations. We are now off-spring in the Junior College of Science and Commerce and more recently in the I.C.S.E School within V.V.E.H.S. A tour of our campus will reveal how education in all its colourful and varied style exists in a most amazing way.In addition to English as the language of instruction, Marathi and Hindi serve as the second and third languages, respectively, for the boys and girls from Nursery Class to Standard XII.
School Timings : Monday to Friday : 7:30 am to 5:30pm and Saturday : 8:30am to 11:30am
